Tribe is a fun and interactive program for children from preschool to grade 6 which runs every Sunday morning during the School Term to coincide with the 10:30am English, Chinese and Vietnamese-langauge services.

The Mission of Tribe is:

To see every child know the transforming power of Jesus' love, follow him wholeheartedly, serve him faithfully and share him boldly.

The dynamic team lead children with exciting songs, hilarious dramas, outrageous games and meaningful biblical teachings. In addition to the regular Sunday programs, TRIBE runs an annual camp for children in grade 4-6, a Holiday Club in July, a Multi Cultural Day to raise funds for a school in Dagoretti Corner, Kenya, as well as various other opportunities for fun and fellowship.

The program itself is divided into four parts so as best to cater to children of various ages and stages:

TINY TOTS takes place in the Pre-school 1 room for children who do not yet attend kindergarten.

EXPLORERS is for children attending 3 year old or 4 year old kindergarten, and runs in the Pre-school 2 room.

LITTLE TRIBE is for those in prep to grade 2 and takes place in Meeting Rooms 1-3.

BIG TRIBE runs from the Activity Centre and is for children in grades 3-6.

There are also exciting opportunities for all the children in TRIBE to come together, or to join with the adult congregations for worship and celebrations.

XLR8 takes place on Tuesday nights from 7pm at Syndal Baptist Church, unless otherwise stated.

Hope you Little & Big Tribers enjoyed making your candle holders today! What a great reminder of the fact that the Holy Spirit lives within us and shines through us, and that we are all as unique as the glasses we decorated.
When I got home and lit a candle in mine, I was a bit sad to see that I'd missed a few spots or that some of the tissue paper had torn. But you know what I realised? There are things about me which are not prefect - things which are broken or messy or not right - but God can even use those parts of me and shine through to show the world how awesome he is. We don't have to be perfect to follow God, we just have to be willing.
