TRIBE provides an interesting and dynamic learning environment for children aged 4 - 12 years of age. The program involves singing, dancing, puppets, drama and skits and loads of fun as the children learn about God's love for them. Join us during school terms on Sundays @10.30am.

Syndal Baptist playgroups meet each week in school terms from Monday to Friday. Playgroup is open to children who turn 2 years of age by April 30, and who are not yet ready for 4 year old preschool. (We also offer a mothers' group for 0-2 year olds.) Younger siblings, non-English speaking families and special needs children are most welcome.

Children attend with their parent/carer once a week, and participate in fun activities suited to 2-4 year olds. The playgroup room is at the rear of the church, off the courtyard, with the playground. Each group is led by a voluntary leader and care person. The cost is $20 per term.

Syndal Kids Who Enjoy Reading about God, Talking about God and Singing about God

A program for pre-school children ( 3 year olds) operates during the 10:30am service.

Young Families is all about giving you and your kid(s) a chance to meet and get to know others in the same situation as you. It is targeted for dads and mums with children who have not started school yet, if however you do have other older children you are still welcome and we would love to have you along. Playgroups are run throughout the week at Syndal and are a great way for parents and children to meet and mix with other families from the local area. Playgroups

Playgroups are run at the church during the week for pre-kinder age children and their parents. A typical session will include games, stories, music, movement, art and play utilising the modern equipment. From time to time the groups go on outings, and combine for larger events.

The facilities provide a safe and educational environment for children, whilst providing a great opportunity for parents to meet other parents in a friendly setting.

 

Sundays for Young Families

Crèche

A crèche operates during the 8.45am and 10:30am services for the convenience of parents with young children. The crèche is equipped with toilets, change tables and appropriate activities for children.

Parents' Room

A sound-proof parents room operates during all services, and allows parents to stay with their children whilst still participating in the service.
