Opportunities to Serve

Volunteer Application

Syndal Baptist Church relies on the teams and volunteers who help run our services, ministries, and maintenance.

We are in need of more volunteers, so we encourage you to be thinking about the role you might be able to play in the life of Syndal Baptist Church.

The teams with the highest need are our kids teams, connect teams and hospitality teams.

Scroll down to read about all the ways you can get involved at Syndal.

*Please keep in mind that some roles in our church have pre-requisites and so we can't offer a form for all possible roles. We would still love to hear from you and chat to you about where you can get involved.

Connect Team

Whether people are new or regular, we want everyone to feel like Syndal is their home from the moment they drive into the carpark to the moment they drive out again. We need teams who will greet and connect with people before and after the service.

This may involve standing at the door saying 'hello' to people as they arrive. It may involve helping people connect into the community through conversations and introductions or by inviting them into an age and stage ministry to help them build deeper connections with others.
