Syndal is fully equipped to host your next conference. From 20 to 450 people, we’ve got all bases covered. Our Main Auditorium seats 450 people. Our additional auditorium seats 300.

Functions and Meetings
No matter the size or requirements of your next function, Syndal can host you! We have Meeting Rooms with inbuilt AV systems as well as kitchenette access.
Weddings
Celebrate your special day in style with Syndal! We have rooms for ceremonies of any size up to 450 guests. Our technical staff are trained in all AV systems and will assist you professionally and stress-free on the day (subject to availability).

We have rooms for services of any size up to 450 guests. Our technical staff are trained in all AV systems and will assist you professionally and stress-free on the day (subject to availability).
Our West Auditorium seats 450 people. It has audio and live stream capabilities. The auditorium also includes a separate section for parents with glass walls for viewing.
The auditorium has a kitchen next to the auditorium, and there is a narrow but long lobby outside the auditorium.
The auditorium has individual seats which can be removed or re-configured to your events style (upon discussion with the church office).
Common set ups include conference seating (automatic set up) or round tables for meals or group set up.
Our East Auditorium seats up to 300. It has audio and live stream capabilities. The auditorium also includes a separate section for parents with glass walls for viewing.
The auditorium has a large fellowship area and kitchen next to the auditorium.
The east auditorium is secured pew seating.
Syndal has 7 Meeting Rooms throughout the building.
Our smaller meeting rooms are perfect for small groups, up to 10, to meet in a quiet and relaxed environment. They also serve well as small break-out rooms for functions occuring in our other rooms.
These rooms individually are ideal for groups of up to 10, and some are divided by operable walls. Available in any configuration you wish, combine these rooms for up to 50 people to gather. The rooms are available with TV screens or projectors for presentation and some have built in sound systems with mics.
The Activity Centre has a low stage. The room can be set up in any configuration of seating (e.g. rows or tables).
The space is ideal for groups of 80 people or less. The room has a kitchenette, low level stage and can have access to cups/mugs/tables/chairs (upon request). This room has two projector screens and audio.
These rooms individually are ideal for groups of up to 10, and are divided by operable walls. Combine these rooms for up to 50 people to gather.
These rooms have TV's and whiteboards for presentation and have conference tables set up. This room also has a access to urns, mugs and cups (upon request) and has access to a kitchenette (upon request).
They also serve well as small break-out rooms for functions occuring in our other rooms.
These rooms individually are ideal for groups of up to 15, and are divided by operable walls. Combine these rooms for up to 40 people to gather.
The combined room has a projector and whiteboard for presentation and have built in sound systems with mics. This room also has a piano, drinks cart with urn, mugs and cups (upon request). The room is located near the bathrooms and has access to a kitchenette (upon request).
They also serve well as small break-out rooms for functions occuring in our other rooms.
Our smaller meeting rooms are perfect for small groups, up to 15, to meet in a quiet and relaxed environment. They also serve well as small break-out rooms for functions occuring in our other rooms.
Meeting room 6 has has a couched area as well as a conference table. The room also has a TV and whiteboard available. there is also a cart for drinks including an urn, cups and mugs. This room is located near the bathrooms and has access to a kitchenette.
The East Meeting Room is ideal for a meeting of up to 10.
This room has a conference table. This room also has access to urns, mugs and cups (upon request) and has access to a kitchenette (upon request).
It also serves well as small break-out rooms for functions occuring in our other rooms.
The East Fellowship area is located next to our East Auditorium. The space is fitted with a 70-inch TV and has a kitchen with servery.
The space can be used for standing events or can be fitted with seats/tables (upon request).
The Clack Room is a medium sized room located in the older part of our building. The room is suitable for groups of 10-25.
The room has a conference table, chairs and couches. There is a TV and whiteboard. This room is also connected to a kitchen and has a access to urns, mugs and cups (upon request).
Syndal has a car park out the back with 140+ spaces. For larger events parking in surrounding streets or the car park across the road may be required.
Technical operators are hired at additional cost, and they can provide required technical support such as sound, lighting, livestream, and video recording.
Technical support is subject to team availability.
We do not offer catering for events. However, Cafe Salt, located on the lower level of the building is open for coffees and light meals on Monday and Wednesday mornings.
Please contact the church office for a recommendation of caterers who often cater for events held at Syndal Baptist Church.

Equipment in meeting rooms may include a projector/TV, microphone (upon request), tables and chairs. Rooms also include glasses, mugs and urns (upon request). Laptops with HDMI can be connected to the projectors or TV screens in our function rooms and event rooms.
Syndal Baptist Church has free onsite wifi available (upon request).
