To make our Easter events as welcoming as possible, we need lots of help!
If you're a member of the Syndal Baptist Church community, we'd love you to consider signing up to serve at one or more of our Easter events.

Join us this Easter at Syndal Baptist Church as we remember Jesus' death and resurrection and celebrate Jesus' transformative power over our lives and countless others throughout history.
Whether you're a church regular, haven't been to church in a long time, or have never visited a church at all - you're welcome at Syndal!
We have services in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Korean, and you can watch online if you can't make it onsite.
Events
Thursday 17th April, 7.30pm
Our Maundy Thursday service is an opportunity for quiet reflection over the events leading up to Jesus' death on the cross. The event includes Bible readings, prayer, taking communion together and other opportunities for worship.
This gathering will take place onsite in our East Auditorium (entry is up the concrete steps at the top right hand side of the carpark or via High Street Rd).
If you can't make it onsite, you can always watch one of our online services from the last few years at home (linked below).
9am and 11am
On Good Friday, our services are a space for reflection, worship and prayer as we remember Jesus' death on the cross for our sake.
At 9am there is an English service and a Mandarin service.
At 11am there is an English service and a Cantonese service.

A note to parentsWhile all are welcome to the Good Friday service, some children may find the English service quite dark and somber, and may find the subject matter distressing.
Tribe Children's ministry will be running for Preschool to Grade 3 children at both the 9am and 11am services.

On Easter Sunday, our congregations celebrate Jesus' rising from the dead three days after his crucifixion. We'd love you to join us!
At 9am there is an English service and a Mandarin service.
At 11am there is an English service and a Cantonese service.
At 1pm there is a Korean service.

Easter CelebrationThere will be a special Easter celebration after the services.
Free food & drink: Including pancakes and coffee. Bring your kids along to enjoy an Easter egg hunt and other fun activities.

If you are unable to make it to our Easter services, you will be able to watch some of them online.
Good Friday
Our English Good Friday service will be streamed live from 9am. You can watch it via the link below or find it at our YouTube channel.
Our Mandarin Good Friday service will be streamed live.

Join our Easter Sunday celebration!
After our Easter Sunday services we'll be hosting a celebration where people can enjoy food, coffee and some activities for kids.

Good Friday offering for Crossover Australia
Every Good Friday at Syndal we collect a special offering which goes towards the work of Crossover Australia. Crossover helps Australia Baptists find innovative and culturally relevant ways to share the good news of Jesus with those around us.
