What is Playgroup?
Syndal runs midweek playgroups where children under 4 years old can enjoy crafts, free play, and story time while parents are able to connect with other mums and dads. We have great facilities for kids and families to enjoy! To enquire about 2025, ask a question, sign up for a trial you can sign up via the enquiry form below. Or you can complete the enrollment form if you are ready join a group.

Where permission is given, we will collate the questions and Kim's answers into a resource which we will share next week via our Lounge Room email list, and make it available via the webpage sb.org.au/loungeroom. All questions will appear anonymously in the resource.

Playgroups Vicotria
We are a registered Playgroup with Playgroups Vicotria.
Playgroup Victoria is a peak body, not-for-profit, incorporated association committed to helping all Victorian families discover the benefits of playgroup. We advocate for the benefits of play in a child’s early years of learning and act as support base for communities and families wanting to start and successfully run a playgroup.
What is Playgroup
Playgroup is an informal gathering where parents, carers, babies and children aged zero to four years come together in a relaxed and friendly environment to connect, play and learn.
What happens at our Playgroups
0-1 year old Playgroup is primarily an opportunity for parents to gather, connect and share experiences of parenthood whilst their children play in a safe environment.
Our 1-4 year old playgroups generally have free play, craft activities, story time, gym play and songs.
About our Facilities
Main Room - Our facilities have lots of toys set up in our main area including kitchen play, dolls, cars and more. The main room has craft tables, painting stations as well as toilet facilities suitable for young children.
Outdoor Playground - We also have an outdoor playground connected to the room with a large sandpit, water play facilities, bikes/trikes and great slides for the kids.
Activity Centre - Each 1-4yo session involves some time in the Activity Centre, this is a hall with lots of gym/soft play equipment, Plenty of ride on cars, roller coasters, ball pit and more. Plenty of space for children to run around.
